What was Venice like in Marco Polo’s time?

What was Venice like in Marco Polo’s time? If you want to discover the answer, this tour is for you! We will walk the alleys and small squares frequented by the famous traveller and discover what it was like to live in this city in the 13th and 14th century.

We will see some of the monuments and the most important places like the Rialto Bridge with its famous market, but also the hidden corners of the city to compare Venice of then and now. It is possible to continue the tour in the company of the ‘Wine Expert Cecilia’ who will take you to one of the typical Venetian taverns, a ‘bacaro’, to explore wines and dishes whose origins go back actually to the trade routes of the Venetians.
